Vividarium appoints new business development manager Vividarium welcome Jamie Hunter to their management team, who will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing and future development of the company. Jamie, who comes with a wealth of experience in both the business to consumer, and business to business sectors, will be tasked with heading up the existing UK trade sales department, along with the development of trade partnerships in Europe and the Americas. Before joining Jamie had worked as a business development manager for the UK’s leading gadget retail chain store group Red5. For over a decade Jamie was responsible for overseeing and developing their rapid high street expansion, before ultimately helping the group steer towards a successful sale of their company to rival high street retailers Menkind. Jamie explained he was delighted when he was offered the position within the Vividarium team, saying; “I thought for many years that the reptile and amphibian housing market was severely lacking in new ideas and development, and so when this opportunity arose I immediately jumped at the chance of joining such a talented, ambitious and forward thinking company. I love pets, and I always wanted the chance to work in the industry in some capacity, but due to having a serious allergy towards any furry animal I thought my options were very limited, but being given this opportunity is absolutely perfect for me and I can’t wait to get going. It literally ticks all of the boxes. I now look forward to helping drive the business forward, exploring new and exciting business partnerships both here and abroad, and to be intrinsically involved in every aspect of Vividarium’s progression.” Les White, Chairman of Vividarium, was quoted as saying; ”We welcome Jamie on board. He has great passion and is driven to succeed, so we think he’ll be a great asset. His foresight and attention to detail will fit perfectly with our company’s vision for the future.” |
